• Because of the precise work we are doing we block off 3- 3.5 hours for your initial permanent makeup appointment. For the touch-ups, we block off 2-2.5 hours

  • After your appointment, the color will appear very dark. Don’t worry this is normal. The healed results will be about 20-40% lighter. The area may be slightly red and swollen and it may feel like a sunburn. This should dissipate within 24-48 hours.

Days 2-4: The brows will still appear very dark and may be starting to scab over.

Days 5-7: Flaking of the scabs may occur naturally. Make sure not to pull the scabs off.

Days 8-10: When the scabs peel off, the pigment will “disappear”. Don’t worry this is normal and it will reappear.

Days 14-28: The pigment will start to resurface but may appear patchy in the areas where the color did not take.

At the 6-8 week touch-up, we will fill in any gaps and perfect the final look.

  • Absolutely yes! The healed results will be 20-40% lighter and some areas will not take the pigment as well as others which results in gaps.

Also at the touch up we get to see the healed results and adjust the color, shape, and fullness as needed. This is the appointment where we put the final perfecting touches that will help the pigment to hold better giving you longer-lasting results.

  • The recommendation is 6 to 8 weeks to ensure your skin is fully healed. We need the brows to be fully healed in order to have good depth and saturation of the pigment.

  • Most people say the pain level falls between a 2-4 and feels like a cat scratch. However, each person’s tolerance to pain is different. A topical anesthetic is applied to the area to keep you as comfortable as possible. Topical anesthetics used may contain lidocaine, prilocaine, benzocaine, tetracaine, and epinephrine. After the procedure, redness and slight swelling in the area may occur.

  • Although it is called permanent makeup it is considered semi-permanent tatooing because the pigments used are made to eventually fade out of the skin within 12-24mos. The pigments used for permanent makeup are not implanted into the skin as deep as traditional tattoos which will allow it to fade over time but there still may be a slight tine of pigment left behind. The length that permanent makeup lasts will also depend on varying factors such as skin type, facial products used, sun exposure, medications, and overall lifestyle. To maintain your brows, maintenance touch-ups are recommended.
